Witness throws everything into his high energy sets taking listeners on a raving rollercoast-er of a journey across the DnB and Jungle scene.

Witness began mixing in the mid 90’s with House and the explosion of the early

UK Garage, but after moving to East London and listening to the pirate radios soon found his love Drum & Bass and Jungle.

Regularly raving at events across London, including Camden Palace, Bagley’s & Fabric and not forgetting Essex’s legendary lost night club Atlantis, Witness took inspiration from DJs such as pioneers of his favourite scenes Hype, Andy C and EZ. Witness’s style of mixing takes clear influence from Hype’s scratching, Andy C’s execution of double drops and EZ’s cutting & chopping and finger drumming.

In 2004 he took his first of many club residencies across the 00’s and 10’s in Hertfordshire and worked around the scene in the area playing House and Garage. At the same time be-ginning his radio career starting a weekly DnB show on an Essex pirate developing his radio presentation skills.

Witness has performed in DnB events in sets with MC’s Skibadee, Det, IC3 and Shabba and has kept a DnB radio show going across several Essex, Kent and internet radio stations across the decades ever since.

The experience of nightclubs and bars on Friday and Saturday night taught him the im-portance of playing to your audience and keeping it entertaining, a standard and principle he maintains and still brings to his DnB radio shows today.

Drum n Bass isn’t for all ears, but somehow, he presents it in a way that now belongs a staple part of so many peoples’ Sunday evening routine - “The weekend ain’t over til you turn the radio off - so don’t turn the radio off - turn it up!”
