DJ Penny Power is a Manchester-based DJ and radio presenter, playing all things House.

Trained at the exclusive Lisa Lashes School of Music, Penny has been a resident DJ on FunkySX 103.7FM since 2022, following previous residencies on Mayhem Productions and Audio Damage radio.

Growing up in Abu Dhabi in the 80s to the noughties, Penny found early inspiration in international sounds raging from Bedouin drumbeats to 90s Europop. After returning to live in the UK, her love of dance music continued through the rave scene that dominated the Northwest in the early 2000s.

Penny’s musical style covers everything from club house, soul, funk and disco, right through to tribal, trance and tech, inspired by her life in eclectic sound.

Penny DJs regularly at private and corporate events, including hosting social gatherings for WeWork co-working spaces.

When she is not being a DJ, Penny is also a neuropsychologist and uses DJing as a vehicle for helping people with acquired brain injury on their journey of recovery from their injuries @BPMRehab.
